Tomica Custom Works WH26 and TQ26 are two differently coloured versions of a customised Nissan Silvia, with changeable wheels, adjustable ride height and opening doors. Both were released in Japan on 19 September 2026. If you are choosing between them, the key decision is the look you prefer: WH26 is white and TQ26 is turquoise.

This guide is based on manufacturer information and published reporting, not a hands-on test. The featured image is an AI-generated illustration of a generic miniature car, not a photograph of either Tomica release. Product and stock information was checked on 4 November 2026.

WH26 vs TQ26: what is different?

Takara Tomy names the cars WH26 Nissan Silvia and TQ26 Nissan Silvia. Japanese publication HOBBY Watch identifies them as white and turquoise respectively and describes the car as an S13-generation Silvia. The manufacturer’s product pages call them Nissan Silvia without specifying a generation in their product titles.

Both versions share the same listed functions. Choose by colour and decoration rather than assuming one comes with an additional feature. HOBBY Watch’s side-by-side coverage is useful for comparing their finishes, while Takara Tomy’s individual pages show the official contents and functions.

What can you change on the Silvia?

Each Silvia includes an extra wheel set. Takara Tomy lists wheel exchange, ride-height adjustment and opening doors as its actions. HOBBY Watch describes display and running configurations, so the change in stance can matter as much as the colour when you arrange the car in a garage scene.

The same first Custom Works wave included two Honda NSX designs, but their features differ: Takara Tomy’s series announcement lists an interchangeable rear wing and retractable headlights for the NSX. Those features are not listed for the Silvia. Check the exact car’s instructions instead of assuming every Custom Works model has identical parts.

How big is the Custom Works Silvia?

Takara Tomy gives the Silvia’s dimensions as approximately 74 mm long, 33 mm wide and 21 mm high. Those are manufacturer figures, not measurements taken by Diecast UAE. The wide body and rear spoiler make clearance worth checking before buying a case.

Leave room for the car and any display base, and compare the case’s usable internal dimensions rather than relying only on a scale label. Our diecast display case size guide explains what to measure.

What should UAE collectors check before buying?

  • Match the code to the colour. Ask for WH26 for white or TQ26 for turquoise, and check the listing and box match.
  • Confirm the contents. If buying an opened example, ask whether the extra wheel set is present and whether both doors and the height adjustment work.
  • Check the exact vehicle. Other Silvia generations and other Tomica lines are different releases, even when their names look similar.
  • Confirm delivery and condition. A Japan release date does not establish UAE stock or a local arrival date. Check the seller’s current listing and delivery terms.

For context on the wider Tomica range, see our Tomica, Premium and Premium Unlimited guide. If you collect Japanese performance cars by generation, our Initial D R32 GT-R guide covers a different Nissan and a different line.

Can you buy a Silvia at Retros?

We could not verify a direct Retros listing for either Custom Works Silvia. As a related alternative, Retros listed the Hot Wheels Naruto Nissan Silvia S15 in stock when checked on 4 November 2026. It is a different generation, brand and release, not the Tomica S13 Custom Works car. Availability can change.

For other models, browse the Retros mini-cars collection. If the changeable wheels and adjustable stance are what interest you, look specifically for the WH26 or TQ26 code and the extra wheel set.
