Two Hot Wheels Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 models can share the same generation and still offer very different experiences. The 2026 Red Line Club BNR32 is a detailed road-style collector release with an opening hood. The Boulevard R32 Pandem is a widebody custom in the Premium range. If you collect Skylines, the choice comes down to the details you want on your shelf.

Both are 1:64 Hot Wheels models. They have different product numbers, finishes and presentations. Here is what the available product information tells us.
RLC R32: the details
Mattel’s product-support page identifies the 2026 RLC Nissan Skyline GT-R BNR32 as JJY54. Its Spectraflame slate finish highlights the familiar road-car shape, while an opening hood reveals engine detail. Mattel specifies Real Riders five-spoke modern wheels, a full-metal chassis and a card inside a Kar Keepers protective case.
- Line: Hot Wheels Red Line Club.
- Product number: JJY54.
- Finish: Spectraflame slate.
- Feature: opening hood with engine detail.
- Wheels: Real Riders five-spoke modern.
- Packaging: blister card inside a Kar Keepers clamshell, according to Mattel.
The tiny “N CHRG” plate is a detail Mattel links to the R32’s racing reputation. It is a road-style interpretation, not a miniature of a specific Bathurst- or Spa-winning race car.
Boulevard R32 Pandem: the widebody choice
The Boulevard version represents a modified Pandem-style R32 rather than the more standard shape of the RLC car. Hot Wheels Collectors News’ catalogue lists the black 2026 Boulevard release as JHW41, numbered 150 in the Boulevard series. Mattel describes the Boulevard assortment as 1:64 models with metal bodies and chassis and Real Riders wheels.
There have been other R32 Pandem releases. A listing that says “Pandem R32” alone does not necessarily identify the black 2026 Boulevard car. Check the product number, series and photos on the packaging.
Quick comparison
- 2026 RLC BNR32 — JJY54: Spectraflame slate, road-style body, opening hood and protective clamshell packaging.
- 2026 Boulevard Pandem — JHW41: black, widebody custom look and Boulevard #150 presentation.
- Both: 1:64 Hot Wheels releases with Real Riders wheels. Verify the exact version and condition before purchasing.
Which one should you collect?
Choose the RLC if the opening hood, reflective finish and a more restrained R32 shape appeal to you. Choose a Pandem if you prefer the wider custom-body look. Neither is automatically the “better” model for every collection: the styling and packaging tell different stories.
If you display loose cars, look at the profile, wheels and paint. If you keep them carded, check the edges, blister and case. For either model, ask for photos of the actual item when buying second-hand.
Find an R32 at Retros
Retros lists a Hot Wheels Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 Pandem. The listing describes a Pandem, not the RLC JJY54. Its page does not establish the Boulevard JHW41 code, so check the photos and details or contact the shop before assuming it is that exact edition. Availability can change.
